Founded in 1965 by the City of Livonia Department of Parks and Recreation
-
Celebrating our 56th season with 33 VOLUNTEER members
-
While most members are from Livonia,15 other communities are also represented
-
One Charter Member, Hank Kanar
-
Ten members have been with the Chorus more than 25 years
-
32 members have been with the Chorus less than 5 years
-
Became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2011
-
Inducted into Livonia City Hall of Fame, Class of 2014
-
Provided music scholarships for 97 Livonia middle, high school, or college students since 1970.
-
In 2018-2019 performed two major concerts, ten "Musical Interludes for Seniors", and six community performances.
-
Weekly Tuesday rehearsals from September to May at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seven Mile west of Farmington, Livonia.
