The Livonia Civic Chorus...Celebrating Season #61

 

• Founded in 1965 by the City of Livonia Department of Parks and Recreation

• While most members are from Livonia,15 other communities are also represented 

• Ten members have been with the Chorus more than 25 years

• Became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2011

• Inducted into Livonia City Hall of Fame, Class of 2014 

• Provided music scholarships for over 100 Livonia middle, high school, or college students since 1970.

• In 2018-2019 performed two major concerts, ten "Musical Interludes for Seniors", and six community performances.

• Weekly Tuesday rehearsals from September to May at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 34567 Seven Mile west of Farmington, Livonia.
